WWF Superstars comes on the air and we are welcomed to the show by Vince McMahon and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
Vince McMahon: It was just last Sunday at Wrestlemania VI when The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship.
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper: But that’s not all. Demolition defeated Andre the Giant and Haku to become WWF Tag Team champions!
Vince McMahon: With The Ultimate Warrior winning the WWF Championship, the WWF Intercontinental championship was declared vacant by WWF President Jack Tunney. He had this to say about the situation.
[The shot goes to President Jack Tunney’s office. He sees the camera, doesn’t smile and begins to speak.]
Jack Tunney: With The Ultimate Warrior winning the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania this past Sunday, it is my duty to declare the WWF Intercontinental championship vacant. At the WWF Madison Square Garden show at the end of the month will feature a twenty man over the top rope battle royal where the last two wrestlers in the ring will wrestle for the WWF Intercontinental championship on WWF Saturday Night’s Main Event.
[The show then goes to The Hart Foundation with “Mean” Gene Okerlund. Bret Hart stands on the left side while Jim Niedhart stands on the right side. “Mean” Gene Okerlund then begins to speak.]
“Mean” Gene Okerlund: My guests at this time - The Hart Foundation. Gentlemen, at the Madison Square Garden show you two step into the ring with the newly crowned WWF Tag Team Champions - Demolition. What are your thoughts going into that big match?
Bret “The Hitman” Hart: Demolition thinks they are big and bad but behind that make up they are a bunch of sissies. They better sleep with those belts because at Madison Square Garden they are coming home with us!
Jim “The Anvil” Niedhart: That’s right. They are going to get beaten and beaten some more. It’s going to be a war! HAHAHAHA!
[The Hart Foundation then walk off camera leaving “Mean” Gene Okerlund by himself.]
“Mean” Gene Okerlund: Well there you have it, The Hart Foundation are ready for Demolition. Let’s go to the ring!
Match 1 - Jake “The Snake” Roberts -versus- Brooklyn Brawler
Match Notes - Jake “The Snake” Roberts hits Brooklyn Brawler with a short arm clothesline, a knee drop to the face and then he hit him with his feared finisher - The DDT. After the match when Brawler was out cold, Jake put Damien the snake on Brawler’s body as the show went to a commercial.

[Back from the commercial break we go to “Mean” Gene Okerlund who is with “Ravishing” Rick Rude.]
“Mean” Gene Okerlund: My guest at this time, The Ravishing one, Rick Rude. Rude, you’re in that battle royal at Madison Square Garden - what are your thoughts going in to that match?
“Ravishing” Rick Rude: Well you see it’s very simple “Mean” Gene! I am going to go into WWF Saturday Night’s Main Event and become WWF Intercontinental Champion once again and then after the show, me and a couple of ladies will come back to the hotel and… you can guess the rest.
[”Ravishing” Rick Rude then walks off camera.]
“Mean” Gene Okerlund: Well there you go, Rick Rude is ready for the Garden! Back to the ring!
Match 2 - “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan -versus- Dwayne Gill
Match Notes - “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan made short work of Gill. He gave him a big atomic drop, a backbreaker and then hit his three point stance tackle for the pin and the win!

[Back from the commercial break we go to Vince McMahon and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.]
Vince McMahon: Later on in the evening we will see The WWF Champion The Ultimate Warrior on The Brother Love show.
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper: That’s right but up next let’s go to Mr. Perfect who is with The Weasel.
[The shot goes backstage where Mr. Perfect and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan are standing in front of a “Mr. Perfect back drop.]
Bobby “The Brain” Heenan: You see this man, this man is perfect and he is coming for that Intercontinental championship!
Mr. Perfect: That’s right Brain, I will be the next WWF Intercontinental champion and you can bank on that because I am absolutely… perfect!
[The shot then goes to ringside where we see The Honky Tonk Man make his way down the aisle and to the ring.]
Match 3 - The Honky Tonk Man -versus- Brad Bradley
Match Notes - Honky Tonk Man hit a clothesline, a vertical suplex and then finished him off with The Shake, Rattle and Roll for the win!

[Back from the commercial break we go to “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase and his bodyguard Virgil. Ted Dibiase says that if this kid in front of him bounces a ball ten times he will give him five hundred dollars. The kid then begins to bounce the ball and on the ninth bounce Dibiase kicks the ball away, embarrassing the little kid.]
“The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase: You just couldn’t do it could you little boy! HAHAHAHA!
[The shot then goes into the next match.]
Match 4 - The Rockers -versus- Barry Horowitz and Iron Mike Sharpe
Match Notes - They hit double dropkicks, flying fist drops and vertical suplexes before Marty Jannetty hit “The Rocker Dropper” on Barry Horowitz.

[We then go to Brother Love who has a microphone in hand.]
Brother Love: My guest, someone I love so much… The WWF World Heavyweight champion - The Ultimate Warrior!
[The Ultimate Warrior’s music hits and he comes on the stage with Brother Love.He has the WWF World Championship around his waist.]
Brother Love: Ultimate Warrior, you know what? I love you!
[The Ultimate Warrior just stares a hole through Brother Love. Suddenly “The Macho King” Randy Savage nails The Ultimate Warrior in the back of the head with a scepter. The Ultimate Warrior falls to the ground as “The Macho King” Randy Savage raises the championship belt over his head. The show then goes off the air.]
